This update has some changes of course. It has had some issues though, at least with my installation. Works great but some updates had the computer acting weird, but they did work finally and with no real issue or intervention on my part. Great recordkeeping and keeps all old data intact through the update process.

This software was easy to install and easy to upgrade when the IRS offered several upgrades. All worked seamlessly. The interview is direct and complete for most taxpayers, I’d say over 90%. There are more complex programs for more complex returns but it seems that this one provides the IRS forms for even those returns.

Not a great update to this program. Sold off so no support, no updates or downloads.

I use Ancestry.com and this is a companion product. Trees in Ancestry can be downloaded and printed in more formats than Ancestry has available. Very worthwhile item.

I’ve wanted for some time to upgrade my old Office 2000 to the newer version. I’ve also needed an office suite for the other two computers in my home (we have a total of three). With my 16-year-old son enabling our household to qualify for this software, I purchased it and have been extremely pleased! Microsoft continues to have a very solid, outstanding product in this latest release!nMy biggest objection previously to buying a newer version was the steep price for even an upgrade.

I recently upgraded to Windows XP from Windows 98 Second Edition, and I have been THOROUGHLY impressed! With Windows 98 I experienced frequent blue screens and crashes. With Windows XP all of those problems are now history. Also, many of the drivers I needed to load AFTER loading Windows 98 are now already included. My video card drivers were loaded, my CD burner functions were all present, and my scanner worked flawlessly without installing any additional software.

I recently upgraded to Quicken Deluxe 2009 from the 2008 version of the same product. I have no regrets, and believe it was well-worth the money. I find the program works smoother and faster for me than 2008. Converting my data files was a snap, and I have experienced no problems downloading transactions from my bank. Not purchasing Quicken 2009 immediately upon release may account for my lack of issues with it.

Despite the negative reviews, I took a chance on upgrading from 2006. I’m glad I did. In fact, I can’t remember ever having regretted purchasing a newer Quicken product. There are a few features for 2007 that are notable:nnThe graphics have been completely revised and updated. For some people the charts and colors may not be that big of a deal, but for me I benefit from seeing my finances in picture form.
