I used two of these to WDS bridge two Asus wl-520gu routers together and it worked great! Very stable connection if using Tomato firmware with transmit power set to around 80. If the two antennas have a clear view of each other, there should be zero problem in getting a rock solid connection. Make sure you buy the correct antenna cable to hook up to your router as this package does not come with it.

I already have Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac, but wanted some of the features that are in the Mac preferred office software (mainly Keynote). This was a cheap way of getting all three of the office products that work really well on my machine. The software installs quickly and if you are using the disk does not require a product key or serial number. After installing Software Updates updated it to 9.

First off I use QuickBooks for basic Invoicing, Estimates and keeping track of payments for my freelancing. I love QuickBooks and used the free edition that was available for Windows. However, when I switched to Mac I found this to be a great edition of QuickBooks and outshines the Windows version. I love the look and feel of QuickBooks for Mac and the floating windows (across the destkop not just within the main QuickBooks window is great!

I have been waiting a long time for an update to Microsoft Office. I primarily use a Mac and really do not like iWork (even now that it is free; I hate ‘exporting’ as DOC). So I always use MS Office. I have been using Office 2011 forever and felt really dated on my machine. Especially when I do use Windows and use Office 2013. I was excited to get Office 2016.

I will say that I love my Mac, and out of the box it does nearly everything. However, recently burning disks has become difficult… I luckily still have a copy of iDVD that I hang onto like a precious relic (iDVD is awesome). However, it does only burn movies for DVD playback (which is fine since I only have a DVD burner in my MacBook Pro), Finder does a good job of burning data, but it lacks options and Disk Utility is useful for certain burning tasks but still falls short on customization.

First off this software looks great on the Mac! When I got it, I was thinking it would be just like the Windows edition, just with the traffic light buttons at the top. I love how everything is floating (not constrained in a Windows; you have toolbar at top, tasks in the middle, and any other items float on the desktop), this is great for when you need to open other files and still view QuickBooks, since you can put the windows side by side and still see both documents (for example copying a contact from the address book to Customer List is simple since the two small windows can sit right by each other and you can just copy and paste each item).
