This is not an easy program, and the books available are not easy to understand. I can’t believe there are not a lot of software programs available to help with small business finances. Most cost hundreds of dollars. I finally gave up and used a much simpler Window 8.1 app on line. This inflated program of special features just had too much stuff that I did’t need.

It was easy to install and already has stop viruses. I have been using AVG but I think I like Avast a bit better. It certainly difficult to determine which Antivirus program I like better. Reports have the other Virus programs a being better. I have used some that literally take over the computer. You know this is there but it is not bothersome. Interfacing with us humans is very important to me.

I finally gave in to replacing Windows XP because of a need for a new computer. The prices of computers that had Window 8.1 were really low.nSo I bought one. Downloading all the stuff from my XP computer took about 2 weeks. I played around with the computer and read everything about Windows 8.1 for two weeks. I can finally say I know Window 8.1 really well. It has the ability to have apps like Google and I Pad and also has the ability of a computer desktop and the good news is they interface well.

I have been using this program on all my computers, it is simple, very safe and very useful. It is very easy to use. I wouldn’t operate a computer without it

I finally took Norton Internet security 2007 off my computer, which is not an easy task. I kept getting errors that would turn automatic virus protection off! Once it is turned off, only by rebooting the computer could it be turned back on. Norton would say that they downloaded a fix for my error, but it would still randomly happen. It is also slow, large and really takes over your computer.

This software probably has the best user interface of any of the mapping programs. It has been completely accurate in my usage, which involves the San Francisco Bay Area in California. Reviewers, please indicate what part of the world you test when you comment on the accuracy of this software. That would be most helpful to potential customers. Apparently, the accuracy is bad in some locations. The question is, where?nnIn the past, I have used Delorme’s software and I found the accuracy to be awful.

The packaging suggests that it is possible to upgrade to Windows 8 Pro. It is not, unless you happen to have the appropriate ISO file in hand. Otherwise, your only choice is Windows 8.1 Pro. I tried every trick in the book, including a LONG phone call to Microsoft. You can easily start the process, but you will always reach a point where an installer program tells you that it could not make an internet connection.

Over-priced for what you get. Works OK though. In the software mass market, that is worth some money.

I could not get this software to install on my peecee. My environment: Windows XP Pro, service pack 3, all Microsoft updates applied. Hardware is about two years old and was top-of-the-line when purchased. I meticulously cleaned my file system and Windows registry before trying to install for the second (and third) time. I also attempted a minimal install: just two features. No dice. I see that has not updated this software for five monthes, as of this writing.

I used two of these to WDS bridge two Asus wl-520gu routers together and it worked great! Very stable connection if using Tomato firmware with transmit power set to around 80. If the two antennas have a clear view of each other, there should be zero problem in getting a rock solid connection. Make sure you buy the correct antenna cable to hook up to your router as this package does not come with it.
