This is a pretty good computer maintenance program. It is not an antivirus program but windows has a tendency to get junked up by programs that are careless in their installations and perhaps worse if removed. Most browsers leave a lot of flotsam and jetsam on the hard drives which this detects and removes. This also does some additional house keeping to optimize memory usage and minimize hard drive fragmentation. Seems to work well.

I installed this over XP as part of a general upgrade; CPU, motherboard, more memory and a video card for my wife’s PC (yes I am a tinkerer). Installed cleanly. In spite of being SP1 it screwed around for several days downloading and installing upgrades - a minor annoyance (with cable internet - would be ugly with dialup). Looks good, runs good, no crashes (although XP was pretty stable in my environment).

I bought this when it was offered at a special price and use it in a household with G Data Internet Security. It is installed on a PC which is used by my wife who likes free games. That said Norton 360 does not handle PUP (potentially unwanted programs) at all well. I will also comment that Free Ride Games deserves a solid slap for delivering a host of unwanted programs.

I installed this over a copy of Vista Home edition not long after upgrading the motherboard and processor. Vista Ultimate does not like to be installed if a lot of peripheral USB devices; camera, memory readers, memory sticks, camera bases etc. are plugged in during the installation. I just pulled them out and it installed very cleanly for me. Then I reinstalled these devices one at a time and Vista is very graceful about going out on the web and getting the right device driver.

The address storing of this program is not as good as WP 5 and is just more complicated to use.

It is ok. I found that Turbo Tax was a little more intuitive; I just didn’t like their sneaky tactics in trying to make more money off a product that I have been using for years at a lesser price. I’ll learn to deal with the new relationship with H&R Block just to spite Intuit for being as greedy as they’ve become.

I have used this product for many years and it does what it’s suppose to do along with some additional features not found in most other products like tune-up and loose-end registry clean-up.

I have used Kaspersky Internet Security for several years and it has not let me down yet. Only complaint is the amount of time to update as it takes an in-ordinate amount of time for that process to occur, but another way of looking at it is that it may require that amount of time to properly do its job.

This package seems to make dying pretty easy.
There’s an abridged legal book that comes in the package, then a short instructional video available on the first page of the program once you install the software.
The software itself updates itself simply enough the first time starting up, and from there you simply click the button of the document you wish to create (will, living trust, etc.) and have it walk you through several interview questions.
