This is a pretty good computer maintenance program. It is not an antivirus program but windows has a tendency to get junked up by programs that are careless in their installations and perhaps worse if removed. Most browsers leave a lot of flotsam and jetsam on the hard drives which this detects and removes. This also does some additional house keeping to optimize memory usage and minimize hard drive fragmentation. Seems to work well. I was a long time user of PC Tools System Mechanic which has been discontinued and this seems to be a capable replacement.
