Intuit has tried several times to create a Mac Version of Quicken. Their staff get creative but just can’t get in their heads that all they need to do is replicate the windows version… not produce a crippled money management system. They just never listened to their beta testers.
Now the Windows version is a complete money management application. It is fairly intuitive. But if you are a Mac user you have to also buy a program like Parallels and a copy of Windows which makes using this product fairly expensive.

I tried the beta version of NTFS for Mac and did have some troubles. But since the production product was released it has been great for the past year.. I recently upgraded to their new release NTFS for Mac 7 and continue to be pleased with it.
I use NTFS for Mac so I can read and write to 2 PC’s that are networked as well as large volumes of photos that are stored on a PC.

I am retired but do occasional consulting and need some specific Windows applications as well as the ability to run Quicken. I use Win7 pro.nI just installed Apples Mountain Lion. All went well and Parallels 8 Beta is reliable and working well. The install was faster than in version 7 and Tools is installed automatically (which is Great!)nI have installed the production version. of Parralells 8 and continue to be pleased

I have been a Parallels user for years. Initially I bought it as I needed to run Quicken for Windows as the Mac version of Quicken was , and still is, so poorly designed. Since then I have chosen to add other PC programs that are not available for Mac’s.nI am pleased with the performance understanding that I am asking my computer to support 2 operating systems running at the same time.

Found it to be an agressvie program that takes over your computer. I would not tell anyone this is the right choice for people like me who like to control their own computer.

I have always used symantec’s norton 360, but when I got a new Dell computer it had McAfee on it, and from there on I’ll never use anything else. McAfee IE Security has some absolutely great extra porgrams that do more than Norton 360 ever did, and McAfee is actually does do automatic updates that norton never did. I going to get McAfee Total Protection next time. I have never been so satisfied with any antivirus product, and this does so much more.

I had windows 7, and it’s ok but the best. I updated to Windows 8 and found I had made the worst mistake I have ever made. I don’t think Windows 8 should even be called a version of windows at all. It has none of the things that other Windows have had. This one has only social apps on it. You must also have an windows account or you get nothing from this version.
