My only experience in editing video in the past has been working with Windows Movie Maker and pulling over HDV from tape. Now that I’m using a Canon DSLR for most of my video clips, I picked up the Corel videostudio to add more control and features to my video editing. I’m running it on a Windows 8.1 i5 laptop without issue. I imagine that it works well on Windows 7, but really speeds along without issue.

I’ve a substantial tree 1200+ of my relatives that goes well back into the 1700s. I’ve worked with ancestry.com’s website for 2 years to research and build my tree. The software has some interesting printing a project aspects to work with.. and it allows you to synchronize your tree locally and work offline in adding to your tree. Beyond that functionality, I’m more interested in using the website… I’ve gotten used to the speed and format and most of my research originates from the internet sources and social interaction from others doing genealogical research.

Like any retail editing program, Pinnacle needs support longer than a month without nickle and dimeing the customer. I needed the training to get off my feet, but as I am not a professional, my use is sporadic and not necessarily all withing the first 30 days of product registration. Getting a product to support my use through my first 2 to 3 projects will get my comfort and use of the features solid.

I picked up this package to help edit and combine home videos taken on a DVC HD 1080p recorder and I thought my q9300 quad core 4gb ram intel machine with a ATI 1900XTX would be adequate for movies editing. I’m running Windows 7 x64 and my system is stable… running a Highpoint 0+1 raidset for fast storage. After loading the software and attempting to work with 60 minutes of HD video, I found the product sluggish and often delayed in response, even though perfmon wasn’t showing disk wait time or high utilization.

I’ve been using this AV product on my tablets, my laptops, and my phones for the last two years. I’ve not had any breaches of security, if that’s any confirmation of the value. The best aspect is that Symantec really continuously evolves the product, and I don’t even feel the footprint of the monitoring. Kudos to Symantec for the multiuse pack. its convenient and a better value.
My platforms… Windows 8, Windows 8.

nI don’t mind the negative feedback. I know the application can crash your system, and leave you frustrated and vulnerable. As a public service, I’m keeping this review in place for the objective readers to use as one source of information.
Fans of the application should not measure their success against this warning. Your experience does not negate mine; I freely admit the program may work in your circumstances, but all potential buyers should see that PC-Cillin is far from perfect.

O2k3 is Microsoft’s latest iteration of their cash cow product, Office, and in some ways fully realizes their previous dreams of integration and utility.nFor example, the taskpane that now appears stage-left (screen- right) does more than display a stacked clipboard; if you’ve been repeating a series of formatting commands, those too appear in the stack for easy access. This is what computers have promised to deliver for some time now. In this and other ways, Microsoft is finally bringing it to users in a usable, intuitive manner.

I was a long-time Eset user but tempted away by Kaspersky because of its performance in the av-comparatives trials ([…]) After a year of evaluation I can report that I’ve switched back to Eset’s NOD32 products. I was even offered a free one-year license for three PCs, but instead chose to sign up with Eset again. Here’s why.
I have occasion to fix PCs from time to time, and part of that is scrubbing hard drives and such.

I bought this to help my Wife, since she files taxes for her mother. We usually have an accountant handle our taxes, but this year was a nice surprise: TurboTax and the accountant were a match. I feel confident doing our own taxes next year if needed.
The step-by-step workflow makes it very easy to complete your taxes, assuming you’ve collected all of your paperwork and you have a mug of coffee ready.

This is a great program at a descent price, Has a lot of great features, many of which I personally will never use.
All the features from the previous edition with some new stuff is what this new program is all about. It is also very user friendly and easy to operate.
