Easy to install, although one quick tech call to answer a question was required and was answered promptly. Small footprint, well made. Can’t expect more for this kind of money.

This is the Norton version of security for all to have! Installation was a breeze and standard on the Macbooks and Windows based systems. The program sets itself up to schedule updates, software and system checks. The drive optimization is as it’s always been, top notch without issues and really goes the distance in saving you headaches from invasions down the road. I’ve been using Norton since the early 90’s and have never had any issue and look forward to many years of great service and protection.

I like the way Roxio packaged features into this version. It gives the novice media junkie a good platform to work from when detailing specific video information. You can edit photos, video, audio and then turn around drop it to a DVD, or flash drive. It’s a great starter package for the beginner, those more advanced will probably find the platform a bit mundane and repetitive. If you want to test the editing waters then wade in my friend, this is certainly the package deal for you.

This has been a really nice piece of editing software. The users manual is almost like and afterthought if you get stuck. There is also a pdf manual if needed. If you are a true beginner to the process, then look at the Fast Flick application to get the full idea and support you need. In comparison to the pro version it provides an additional special effects package within the program.

My video editing skills fall under the basic guidelines, this package filled the need for some basic design concepts and was easy to use. It did take a while to load but it’s a large software package. This demo was a just in time program. My youngest daughter was in a ballet recital but a few days before the recital she fell and cut open her head. That left a nasty wound that the ballet instructor asked us to cover with a minimal band aid. Needless to say, we could not find a band aid so we tried to brush her hair to the side to cover. It worked a little but in all the pictures this larger than life cut showed up very prominent.

Cyberlink PowerDirector 12 Ultimate is one of the best platforms I’ve used in a long time. I enjoy the program and it’s ability to cover a wide variety of elements. It is truly the ultimate suite program and offers much more than Corel. It has a comfortable feel to the program that allows you to build what you want within the featureset of the operating program. It’s not a repetitive issues program but a straight forward approach to features used on other programs but arranged in on a solid platform with Cyberlink.

This product was easy to use and ready to go right out of the box. With more Macs out on the market and the usage of intel processors this software certainly lends itself to supporting safe browsing on the web. I installed the software on two separate Macbook system. One system worked beautifully the other system would not allow any websites to load no matter what the settings. If you need a virus protection system and you’ve not invested in Norton or McAfee then this is certainly right up your alley.

The idea behind this software is terrific–PDF maker and viewing numerous formats. But I didn’t like how the software attempted to quickly take over as the default viewer. For example, I had some PDFs that worked fine on some PDF viewers and less so on others, including this. And when I installed this, it tried to became the default viewer immediately. Another issue I noticed is the larger file size it works with.
