Item shipped quickly and arrived well packed. Extremely easy to set up and use. Good software & instructions. Robust & speedy network, far faster than my WAN. Has worked on every outlet I’ve tried so far in my 100 year old house, even through an extension cord.

OS X Tiger is a great upgrade that significantly increases speed and reliability. No more spinning beach ball of death. I have had Tiger now for about 3 weeks and the system has yet to crash or freeze. Boot time is cut in half. A huge improvement over the previous OS X and well worth the price. The previous posters that claim crashes and no speed improvements are Microsoft plants

Buyer beware. Intuit’s business model is based on selling upgrades. After 4-5 years, QuickBooks will require you to upgrade to continue using core features such as creating PDF invoices, accessing bank account online, and even accessing company accounts created with older versions. If you don’t, the version you paid a few hundred dollars for will be rendered an expensive check register.
Another issue is setting up bank accounts. I spent hours trying to set up my online account at one of the largest banks in the world, and all I got was error messages blaming the issue on my bank.

Windows 8 is an absolute disaster. The desktop is now a confusing morass. There is simply nothing about this OS that is an upgrade over Windows 7, and in many ways it is far worse.

As if it wasn’t bad enough that intuit makes people buy the SAME exact software each year, now intuit has crippled the functionality of the basic version to force people to pay more money for the premium version by eliminating common schedules used by virtually every small business owner. Two thirds of reviewers rated this release one star for a reason Bob. Listen to your customers for a change.

This does not work on a Mac, and for whatever reason H&R Block does not offer a Mac version of this.

The lessons are ok, the problem is the software looks like it was designed for a 1980’s PC running Windows 98. The window size is about a third of the screen on both Macs and PCs. There is an option to resize it to full screen, but all that does is zoom in to the point where the graphics are pixelated. It’s probably time they updated this software.

This upgrade' will not install on aclean’ hard drive, nor will it upgrade' XP Pro. There is a work around, but it involves duplicate installs and other technicalworkarounds’ so if you are not technically savvy, don’t get this upgrade'.<br /><br />If you do want to consider thisupgrade’ be aware that Windows Vista Home Premium does not include FAX capability and needs the Office 2007 suite along with Outlook 2007 (which does not support animated gif’s, among other things) for most eMail.

Very little change, less features (does not support animated gif’s or stationary).
Outlook 2007 now uses Microsoft Word as its rendering engine for all incoming emails. In Outlook 2003 (and earlier), email with animated gif’s would look great, because it uses Internet Explorer to render the emails, leaving the HTML alone. However, in Outlook 2007, Microsoft Word literally rewrites your beautiful HTML into Word-like HTML, leaving out the creative touches that used to be available until Outlook 2007.
