Corel does some really good work on their graphics software. It’s not quite as robust on features as Adobe’s equivalents, but the price difference is pretty huge.
I wouldn’t actually recommend this for pretty casual use, because you’ll be paying for a lot of features that go beyond what you really need. You could probably get something for 1⁄4 the price or something that would do fine and you’d have something that’s a little easier to use. If you want to be able to do pretty sophisticated work without investing in a top end professionally priced product, though, this can do a very good job.
