I had Norton Internet Security 2005 on my PC from the manufacture. When my one year subscription expired I updated to NIS 2006 and in the upgrade process it wiped out all of the setting and configuration info that I laboriously entered into NIS2005 during the last year - including several hundred blocked email addresses, firewall rules etc. All I can get out of the miserable indian tech support is ‘sorry for the inconvenience - type the information in again’.

In addition to the above I have lost some functionality that was present in NIS2005 and they have added more bloatware to my system that I really don’t want.

I will not buy this product for my other PC’s
