This is a very bare bones typing tutor program. It teaches you in small stages how to type without any silly games or other things, making this better suited for adult learning than for kids. To test this program out, I installed on my trusty Windows 8.1 desktop system, ready to give my mechanical keyboard some typing action.
The program runs smoothly most of the time, though it does seem to suffer from an occasional crash to desktop. It’s not often enough to be too distracting, but there again it is something to be aware of. It’s worth docking a star in the rating from, as this is the only unstable program on my system.
This program pretty much lets you learn at your own pace, so even slow learners can benefit from this program. Just have your goals outlined, make a plan, stick with it, and you’ll get there faster than you thought you would. The fact that you can focus on your weaker areas means you’ll end up learning a more accurate typing skill than you would if you were just rushed through the whole shebang time and time again.
