The software installed quickly on my Win 7 computer with no problems at all. If you have use video editing software before, the format is immediately familiar and easy to figure out. On the whole I like it much better than Sony’s Vegas in terms of use feel and output option clarity. Conversion choices into final product are easy to follow. So on the whole I would recommend this product for a home amateur.
