I have not owned prior versions and prior to using this have no experience making my own calendars, cards, etc. I loaded this and found it very straightforward to use the simple applications for cards and calendars. I have not fully explored everything and have nothing to really compare it to, but it seems pretty user friendly and there look to be a lot of fun applications. Not sure why it gets such bad reviews, but that may be because I have no real background using this type of program and have used it for pretty simple projects. Seems to run well on my computer, which uses Windows 7.
