I have the non Pro version and picked up the Pro version. Overall the core areas of the product are good. The virus protection and parental control are very good for most users. The Pro version tries to add some extra features for more money but I’m not convinced they are worth the extra cost. They are not bad to have but not worth the extra cost and most people probably won’t use them or know how to use them.

For the core piece of the product which is virus protection, you can’t go wrong with Trend Micro. They are a very good virus company and are used in the corporate world as well. So if you are looking for a good virus software with parental controls then stick to the non Pro version. If you feel you need some of the extra features of the Pro then its not a bad price but in the end you may be spending money for things you don’t need or won’t use.
