The basic version of Kaspersky Internet Security is available for free via the Android Marketplace. All the basic features are available with the free version. Including Lock & Locate, Wipe and Mugshot to name some of the most helpful. Although setting up yet another account is annoying it is necessary for several of its best features (Like Lock & Locate). The major downside is that the free version doesn’t run active scans on sites you visit or apps you download. This is easily fixed by simply running scans manually from time to time. Unless you have a specific reason or are naturally paranoid there is no reason to purchase the premium edition.
