We got this for our older teenage boys, which are amateur film makers. They tinker around with friends and family to make amusing home movies. I did not expect a professional program for this amount of money, but did expect a user friendly, versatile program for their purposes. Our impressions are as follows: semi-user friendly (takes a lot of time commitment before being able to actually use the program, but it is usable), affordable (for a program of this type - in comparison to other comparable programs), the bugs that were previously mentioned in other reviews continue to be a problem (we have not downloaded the patch, as of yet, but hopefully that will resolve some of the issues). So, for our purposes, we are content with this product. Will be glad when they work through some of the other issues, like the UI redraw.
