Full disclosure - I am a long time Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro user. I got this package because it does do 4k and h265 codec. Both pretty great new technology I wanted to use.

If you are just getting started with video editing this is a great package! So many features packed in and a nice timeline editing mode.

While it does come with a VAST supply of effects, transitions, and filters; all of them feel very cheap. What I mean is you can say find a floating star effect that will add something nice to the video, the quality of the animation is quite poor. That being said there are so many you should be able to find something you like.

If you are coming from Premiere you may find the interface a challenge but you can learn it easy enough. If you are new to editing you should be able to jump right in. That is a mark of good software.

Overall recommended.
