Let the Buyer Beware! The H&R Block Tax Cut Program seems to have a mind of it’s own sometimes and I don’t think the program is geared toward handling all comers the way it should be. I am disabled and on SSI and my wife is retired and working part time; one of us is over 65 and one isn’t and I found it hard to override what the program thought should be my responses. I had to go back three times on routine checks to correct items checked (like the allowance blocks to ID age and disability status) because the program had ‘assumed’ my answers and answered for me incorrectly. These incorrect responses would have costed me money and probably triggered an IRS audit.
