We have 3 Apple computers, two iPhones, one iPad and one Windows 7 PC in the house.
Norton 360 Multi-device is really quite good on my Windows 7 laptop. It’s exactly the sort of program you want running when downloading email, surfing the Web, and running updates. It’s not a memory hog, but not exactly lite either (if you have only 4GB of RAM in your system, consider yourself warned). But, for my Windows PC, I have no complaints.
For all my other devices: what’s the point? It offers no real protection for iOS devices and only minimal protection for Mac OSX; oh, and you’d better be running the latest version of Mac OSX, because anything before OSX 7 isn’t supported. Anyway, even if you do get it running on your Mac computer, it’s best at pointing out spyware and suspicious websites… which most browsers have built in anyway.
In short: It’s great on a Windows 7 machine. Everything else I own: meh.
