InstallationnInstalling Roxio Creator NXT3 is a simple process. You can install this on a netbook but you will need an external USB DVD drive to read the installation disc. To get the most use out of the software, make sure you choose a complete install. You will need to input the license key so keep the DVD sleeve with the box for future reinstallation.

Roxio VideoWavenThe best feature of this video composition suite is Roxio VideoWave. The software brings together multiple utilities that allow you to compile together multiple videos with specific cuts from each to give you full control over your final product. I enjoyed the ability to input text that scrolled from the left of the screen with a 3D effect. Using an Intel I7 based laptop with an SSD, I was able to create a full 720P 3 minute movie of my New Years fireworks show in approximately 15 minutes. The encoder will use multiple cores of your processor to improve the speed.

Roxio has created a great product here that I recommend to anyone from beginner to advanced level. Use the integrated help tools and you should be able to make your own home movie Blu-Ray discs in no time.
