Review by a customer

When I first opened the program, I was very very confused since it didn’t look anything like Microsoft Office I used for years. After the initial shock, I realized that it can do about the same thing, and do it right. I really like to have more control about what I am doing, and this is what it is all about. It is less intuitive at the first sight, but being in control seems to be more important to me. It can work with the same file types, and many more.nI also like the Lightning program included for taking notes, it is so easy to use.n——————–nEdit: I tried to open a txt file with cyrillic name, corel wordperfect couldn’t open it, saying the file is empty. Tried to open file with notepad and copy/paste the text, got series of ??? instead of letters. Tried all of the options for pasting that are available on right-click - no, didn’t work. Found I have to click on Edit on top, then Paste Special, then choose Unicode, then Ok and then it worked. When wanted to paste the same text to another place in the file, had to repeat the procedure. Typing in Russian is ok, and copy-paste works as it should for parts of the text that were typed before.nI am very disappointed.
