I’ve been using Kaspersky products for years now, starting from their Internet Security products. On my systems at least, Kaspersky seems to use minimal system resources, has had minimal false positives, and caught its fair share of viruses. The application also is easy to customize the settings – such as firewall, to allow, or block certain applications from accessing the internet.
The PURE version also allows you to manage other installations of Kaspersky on the network, which simplifies the process of configuring and monitoring multiple systems.
The only issue that I’ve encountered with Kaspersky is that upon installation over old versions, occasionally there’ll be issues with the setup process. If this happens to you, its better to uninstall and just do a clean install.
If you’re unsure about whether this is the right product for you, go to Kaspersky’s website and download their trial (or go to their updates section and download it). You can always update to their latest version at no additional cost (keeping the same active subscription)nnBTW, to stretch the subscription an extra month, keep the installation in trial for the first month before inputting the key. It will pester you to upgrade/purchase a key for that month, but if you’re frugal, this would certainly be the way to go!nnAll in all, I would highly recommend Kaspersky PURE.
