Symantec generally makes a sound product. This is one of several top antivirus/system security software that usually works well. I say usually because I’ve seen some viruses slip past McAfee, Norton and TrendMicro. So, it does happen.
My main concern is how slow the system will run. Right now, it doesn’t cause significant slowdowns like I’ve seen in the past, but it may, depending on load. The best software that seems to not cause mental problems with that as much is Avast!nnMy main complaints is that the extra stuff like parental controls are extra to install and lame when it comes to control and decision making. McAfee is the same way. TrendMicro seems to have a better handle on it, but I found it dogged my machines.
Overall, this seems to work. Working without bogging down the system is what these should do.
