I had never used a Nero product prior to installing this one. Though there seems to be many more uses intended for this product than what I am currently using it for, I have - thus far - only used it for copying and burning music CDs. I had hoped to use it for more video editing, but that isn’t what this is really designed for. Sure, you can use it for burning video DVDs and for changing video formats, but as far as making your own movies and editing them? You’re going to want a more robust video editing software package for something like that.

On the negative side, this software did not easily install on my Windows 8 desktop. I am not sure why this was the case, but I pretty much had to go into the disc file folder and install one portion of this product at a time. Also, the tutorial files were inaccessible. I have no idea why this was, but every time I tried to access them, they would never finish loading. So, though I wanted to learn to do more with this software, I was unable to. Given my negative experience with aspects of this software I cannot recommend it to other buyers.
