This program is powerful and easy to use. It is not simple like Koadk Easyshare or similar programs. For some reason I have a very hard tome using any of the Adobe Photoshop programs. There are times that one needs more powerful tools - the commands make sense to me.

This is the standard for office suites as far as I an many others are concerned. This is a version that operates from the www. It has all the core applications of Office Professional. It has Publisher and Access as well. It is a wonderful option for a family in that it licens 5 devices. The only drawback is the yearly subscription of around $99.00. It is a very nice alternative for a family.

I have had many Virus programs over the years. This is a full featured suite with a really nice interface. I really liked the feature where one could control the features of all 3 PC’s from the main PC. Nice features considering I have a 6 years old grandchild – ‘Parental Controls’

I usually buy an upgrade every other year. This is a very powerful and mature product and offers a lot for a range of one’s abilities. Love it. I find it easier to use than the other famous product. If you are non technical this might not be the best for you.

Over the years I have criticized Quicken for bugs etc. This is a nice polished version. I am installing it now so I have release 2. It is a good priced product, polished over several decades. Went on perfectly - and added a reasonably priced and efficient online backup at 1⁄4 the cost of the previous OLB. They give us a lot for our money. I do wish they had the great free support they had only a few years ago.

I have been using Q since 1992 or before. Over the years the program has become very complicated and powerful. When it was simple - they complained that it was too simple. When it got complicated - they complained the same. Now they like the simplicity of Mint - I assume the same will happen to Mint. Generally it is wise to grade every other year or when there is a OS upgrade.

The Sketchbook Pro keeps it simple by presenting you with a white paper like interface where you can draw freely without too many buttons cluttering up the screen. There are a variety of tools available - brushes and pens etc. that help you create a simple sketch or a professional drawing. The software is easy and simple to learn as the interface is intuitive and the tools are easy to understand.

This rating of 3 stars reflects ease of use, features, compatibility against price. There are many free products out there but Nero has always been my go to to edit and burn video files when I want a good quality burn. I had not used recent versions, so was pleasantly surprised to find out that it now has several features to share and even import online videos. This program was easy to install, although it does take up quite a bit of space and needs some good processing power when burning movies so it’s no good on the basic laptops.

This software is very large in size and takes up too much space on my already crowded system. I had used QuickBooks earlier and found the Office Accounting Professional to have some good features but overall it is cumbersome, slow and not very intuitive in some aspects. I think it is a good solution for a home office but is not robust enough for small business use. However, the integration with MS Office is good and helps transport some of the data more easily.
