I am a home user. I don’t use the software for professional purposes. I like to do digital scrap books and photo gifts, so having software like this is very nice. I’m able to correct and emphasize parts of photos, then use them.
I have the program installed on my new laptop, which is running Windows 10. I had no real issues installing, just a few pop up messages from the computer system, not the installation itself.

There are a lot of genealogy software choices out there. I really like Family Tree maker. I’ve used it and grown with it for many years now. Like a lot of software it’s added many new features across the years and their great though sometimes I miss the simpler interface and presentation of previous versions. Couple this software with a subscription to Ancestry.com and you got perhaps the best combination of genealogy resources available.

I have always been a Turbo Tax user but after their feature removal this year I decided to try H&R Block. I didn’t like the program as much. It seems less polished than Turbo Tax though it did easily import last year’s Turbo Tax generated data and it seemed to cover the bases. My only problem is that H&R Block’s software didn’t seem to know what to do with my minister’s housing allowance.

Excellent upgrade that installs easily and is very compatible with Windows 10. This is a good way to go if you’re running an older version of Microsoft Office and don’t want to pay the cost for the newest version.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and I find it always easy to get my taxes prepared and filed. I did try some other competing products but I prefer Turbo Tax. Certainly some of that is liking what I’m used to but it’s easy to get used to the product because it does it’s job so well.

I have only installed the Norton AntiVirus 2009 3-User product today, but so far the installation, registration, and activation all seem to have gone more smoothly than past versions. I was happy to see this, as I have often had installation difficulties in the past with the Norton AV products. I have used Norton for years, ever since I worked for a local ISP, whose owner would have nothing but Norton on all of his machines!

I have used Norton anti-virus and security products ever since I first became involved with computers in the late 1990s. For the most part, Norton products have served me well over the years, aside from a glitch or two along the way. I have installed this version on three machines, one running Windows 7, one running Windows Vista, and the third equipped with Windows XP. The installation on the old XP machine gave me the most trouble.

Seems like Paint Shop Pro is getting harder and harder to use, as features are added, and the price keeps going up. I buy older versions because I don’t want to spend the money on a new one. Works for the minor editing that I do. Wish it were more user-friendly for novices and intermediate users like me.

After learning some HTML on my own, and struggling to set up my first Web page, I came to appreciate FrontPage 98. Later, I upgraded to FrontPage 2002. Microsoft had a winner in this affordable, easy-to-use Web page design tool.
I use it exlusively to do all of my Web site design these days. It has a few quirks, and is not always as intuitive as I think that it should be, but, hey–it sure beats doing markup manually!

I was forced to order Corel PaintShop Pro X4 when I reinstalled X2, and found out that Corel would not support it with necessary updates. A strike against Corel, as far as I am concerned.
I had a little difficulty with the new layout using tabs, but once I sorted through that and got used to it, I was able to do photo editing much as I had done on X2.
