I love Turbotax, have used it for years. But this years version is causing me huge installation issues.
Installed and computer starting crashing (BSD). Uninstalled, everything ran fine for a day. Re installed, again BSD. Uninstalled, no BSD. During this time I changed nothing else on my computer other than dealing with Turbotax. Tried chat, guy told me it was my machine and I should contact a tech. I find it strange that my machine runs fine without TurboTax and keeps crashing with it.

The idea behind this is fantastic, one product to protect all your stuff. The execution, however, is not perfect.
Good:nWas easy to install.
Easy to set parental controls. I really like the Family Protection, which unlike the other one I used, can not simply be worked around by being uninstalled or using another browser.nI also like the little green check that shows up next to URLs, especially tinyurls, this has made it much easier for me as I now can tell my kids that if it has a green check, they can go there.

Do you need Win Zip is the real question. If you need it, it is a great program.
You need Win Zip if….
*You have large files to send over email.n*You want to encrypt your messages.n*You send large photographs via email.n*You store a lot of really large files on your computer.
You do not need Win Zip if…n*You are sending stuff like 20 page Word docs.n*You just send snapshots for people to look at.

My 10 year old girl and 13 year old boy had to be pulled off the computer after playing this for 5 hours straight (yeh, I know that is too long but I was working and getting so much done!). They did not fight the entire time they played the game. I could hear them laughing and encouraging each other to build higher (only one can play at at time).nThey told me it reminded them of a combination of Zoombinis and Crazy Action Contraptions but was more fun.

Upon opening this new version of Norton Security I was surprised to see that even though it’s a boxed product, there’s no installation disc in there, just a card with a product key. You actually still have to download all the files to install (so why not just sell it as a digital download instead of assembling and shipping out boxes?). Unlike other reviewers I didn’t have any problems with the installation, although I was amused right off the bat that the first thing it tried to do was uninstall AVG.
