If you download transactions (checks, credit card transactions) as most businesses do – DO NOT BUY QB 2009. It is simply not functional. I’ve used QB, Quicken and Turbo Tax for 14 years. I have no idea what Greg Wright the Director of Product Management for QuickBooks was thinking, but he should be fired… at once. They’ve had this product out for months and it is still not useable. In Dec, Greg said he was passionate about fixing it.

I appreciated the sniping tool in Vista – but I hated Vista so much I reinstalled XP. So I missed the sniping tool and Googled for a solution and found Snag It! Snag It! is far, far superior to the simpleton tool Microsoft had (SURPRISE.
I whole heartly recommend this if you need to send screen shots with comments.

Fist, there is not much new here and it isn’t worth the price in my opinion. I run both 2007 and 2010. The licensing terms are so poor, no one should consider buying this. It is for this reason, I switched my business to Google Apps. They just work, they are inexpensive and they are constantly being enhanced. Why Steve Ballmer still has a job is beyond me.

This version of Windows 8 came with both the 32bit and 64bit of Windows so you can install it on either machine. It’s a bummer having to trace around which operating system is best for your PC and if you have an old old PC the 32bit version is perfect and newer are 64bit.
So that being said, the operating system is FAST extremely FAST!!!!nnNot a resource HOG like Windows Vista, Windows Vista had too many bugs and the AERO caused systems to crash and what not.

A lot of start up problems, a lot of shutdown problems, I ended up having to switch to linux and it starts up and shuts down like a charm. I suggest getting Windows Vista if you need to game in DirectX10, otherwise, stick to XP.

However, I ran into compatability issues and switched to Libre. Libre is almost as easy to use as MS Word and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg - (As in free!)

It’s a pity when a free antivirus is more effective than the commercial ones
