I create video files mostly for business training and for my Amazon and YouTube reviews. I have been using Corel Video Studio 12 which is a simple program that does just what I need it to do. However, I am always on the outlook for something better and when I got the chance to try this one out I was very interested.
The Cyberlink Power Director Ultra 13 has features that my other software does not have, including the ability to create 4K files and discs.

Clumsy interface and poorly designed. After using it, it told me I had to pay Federal and State taxes. I took my paperwork to a CPA and received a refund form both! Save your money and take your taxes to a qualified tax preparer.

Intuit has never been very upgrade friendly. This upgrade is no different. The cloud updating feature is faster, but that’s about it. In all respects it looks and acts just like Quicken 2013. Come on Intuit, provide your customers with a real upgrade path. $60+ for this is nothing but a money grab.nUnless you really want to increase the speed of your android cloud interface, walk away form this upgrade until Intuit gets real with its pricing.

Too much money for what you get, but absolutely required in the working world. I feel miked for another lump of money just to keep up.

I’ve used Turbo Tax and Mac-in-Tax since 1990.nThis one is by far the easiest that I’ve used.nI did have one glitch with my State Tax form. I’m retired and I receive a 1099-R instead of a W-2.nIn the Michigan State tax form the program defaulted this 1099-R to a public pension. This is a private pension and with the new taxes on pensions in Michigan, I was going to have to pay a large short fall.

Poorest operating system Microsoft ever made. Longest boot time. Massive ram and disc space required. Use Windows 7 instead.

I’ve been using Quicken since 1998. This by far is the best one of the lot. I really like the mobile feature. I use to carry a laptop on vacation, no longer. I can do all that I want with my Android phone. Its a tremendous weight savings when traveling by motorcycle.

I’ve relied on Norton/Symantic for my computer protection since 1986. My first encounter was with my first Macintosh Plus.nWouldn’t be caught without it.nNew software in the Norton One package is even better.

Not much help in the items I bought it for. Don’t bother purchasing this book.

First one I ever bought, so far so good. Seems to work well and installation was easy, except that the installation instructions were difficult to follow. I called my cable company and they helped me figure out what to do.
