The upgrades for Vista are relatively cheap, even for Ultimate upgrades. I only had to delete one file to install it, and that was no problem. Symantec has upgraded Internet Security 2007 to download free. Personally, I like it. My other software presented no problems.

On my initial installation, it had to reboot as part of the install. When it rebooted, I got a blue screen! I had to recover to XP and install again plus having lost all my software. After three days, I now find it trouble free and like it very much. I have not decided if the improvements are worth the price and trouble I had yet, though.

I use Word with an all-in-one laser printer and can run scans, faxes and print from it. I have used it for several years in different veersions and I like it despite not needing all its features.

Unlike your other reviewers I downloaded and installed this program. I have had no slow down or freezing and the firewall is doing its job. It even gives instruction for manual removal of adware the program could not remove. GoBack boots fast and has proven useful once. All in all I like the software and find it trouble free.

I’ve been using Norton Internet Security now for at least 10-years and have never had a problem. I’ve watched this product evolve over the years to it’s present form. It does background scans so you can continue doing what you’re doing. It warns you of threats. It even provides a map of your home network, complete with IP and MAC addresses. I tried McAfee once, and I’ll never go back! I’ve also tried CA (Computer Associates), but nothing beats Norton Internet Security for ease of installation and use.

Norton has come a long way over the years, to become, in my opinion, the BEST Anti-virus and PC security software available for the price. It is feature rich and includes a Vault to store your passwords, a Password Generator, and unique software tools to discover and destroy hard-to-find viruses and malware. It can protect PCs, Macs, Smartphones and tablets. What more can anyone ask! 5-Stars!!!

You cannot beat Norton products for security and ease of use. I’ve been using them for over 10 years and they have just gotten better. It includes a Password Manager (Identity Safe) which stores your passwords for each website you desire it to. Also, it has a password generator for those who have a difficult time dreaming up a new password. Word to the wise: Whether the key can be used for 1-device or 10-devices, the clock starts for all the licenses once you use the first one.

Although it is available on Amazon.com and I can download it if I want to, I have not used Word Perfect in several years. It is useful software, however.

Quicken Deluxe 2014 is OK … …but with one or two items that I can’t use. After using Quicken 2010 for some time, the budgeting tool on 2014 was hard to get use to. I did not like it at first, but the more I worked with it the better it got and now it is working fine and saving me money. One thing that I have definitely changed: when I write a check, I don’t put it in checking.
