I am a long-term user of Pinnacle editing products. I got my first program nearly 10 years ago, and have slowly updated ever since. I’ve used Pinnacle 6, Pinnacle 10, Pinnacle 12, and now with this, Pinnacle 16. I work in television production so I am familiar with all the professional editing systems out there, and this is perfect for my home machine. Loading it onto my computer was fast – faster than previous versions.

Got this program to replace my 3-D Home Architect 3.0 which I loved. (I did’t love 5.0, which I also had.) It’s okay. Does what it’s supposed to, but isn’t easy to figure out things like stairways, etc. Not sure any of the others are better, but I might try them. (I got this because it got a Bronze Award and was the least expensive. Oh well. As I said, it isn’t terrible, but it isn’t great.

Another nice piece of software from Corel. As a Paintshop Pro X7 owner I didn’t necessarily need to upgrade to X8. The benefits I received for doing so were slim. There were a few additions that I noticed but nothing that I would particularly use. Watermarking is one nice feature that they added but not something that applies to my usage.nHowever if you do not have photo editing software then this is a good one to get.

I have been using this for a week now and so far I am not the least bit impressed. 1. I have done a full scan on my computer 3 times now and yet every time I restart my computer it tells me I have a security issue and that my computer has not had a full scan in a week. 2. I put the settings on gamer mode for my husband’s computer.

I don’t think this is a program that will really teach someone a whole language despite it’s stated advertisement to that effect. I do think this is a good program to use hand in hand with another. Such as attending a Spanish class or even better, hanging out with Spanish speaking friends. The interface is easy to use for adults and kids alike. The vocabulary drills and quizzes are mildly entertaining, at least in small doses.
