This year I decided to go with the download version instead of the physical disc. It worked great, it looks like that’s the way I”ll be buying my copies in the future. I have been using Tutbotax for years. Now I have begun ordering the online, downloadable version which enables me to get a copy the same day as I order and it works great. I like having the information I need to file without having to leaf thru the federal and state instructions, the review with recommendations and the free filing. The charitable deductions definition is useful too.

I have been using Intuit’s Turbo Tax Deluxe to do my taxes for many years. I like the way it defines what you need to enter, provides explanations on each and every item and provides recommendations based on the data you enter. I remember when I used to do my taxes using the 1040 form with explanations and I always dreaded doing that task, I still dread doing the taxes, but using Turbo Tax Deluxe, that anxiety is quickly alleviated.

It’s an affordable way to stay up to date with Photoshop and Lightroom. Unless you get the full programs free through school or work, this is the best way to stay current. Creative cloud syncs to adobe’s mobile apps as well on your iphone or ipad. Keep in mind this is a recurring subscription unless you cancel.

After installing and trying out this product for nearly a month, I’d have to say stick with Quickbooks. We found it just too much of a pain to set up and figure out. Plus it felt like I was getting blasted with ads. Are you serious? No thanks..

You can’t go wrong with the McAfee Internet Security software! Our niece seems to always let in viruses on our computer when she uses it. She doesn’t seem to understand that opening every window or email that she has access to isn’t always the best thing. After facing multiple viruses after she has visited we got this to install our own computer. We have not had the problem since installing this software.

It’s gotten more stable over time but still not as feature rich or reliable as the windows version. Office 365 isn’t a bad value if you have more than one computer before getting this. I love OS X but Office is essential for me. Parallels software to run windows Office isn’t so essential for me now but I still need other windows programs. Highly recommend for Mac users especially for Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.

First off, I had problems importing info. Lost some dates and relatives. Good news is that it integrates well with ancestory.com and includes 6 months sub. The bad news is ancestory.com is expensive to use afterwards. I’ve basically just use the ancestory.com app with the ipad now.

After getting past some install issues with windows 8.1, I found the whole process of editing videos to be somewhat of a hassle compared to other programs I’ve used in the past such as windows movie maker or iMovie. The UI was very hard to navigate and it was just time consuming trying to figure out the simplest of features. Frankly, I just don’t have the time to learn this software and regret the time sink I spent on it.
