I started using HR Block a few years ago and used Turbo Tax before that. I can say that the 2010 HR Block is the same easy to use software as the past few years. Some may gripe that the deduction software must be accessed online vs being installed on your computer, but the functionality is still the same and you can save the deduction file to your PC. I also want people to know that I tried the online HR Block and could not get it to import my info from last year.

No problem with the key I purchased. Installed Windows 8 OK and upgraded to 8.1 with minimal issues.

I like using Quicken overall, but I just wish that they could release a version that is free of bugs. I’m not talking about bugs related to new features, but rather bugs in the most basic functions of the program. I was using 2009 before this version and when you made manual register entries the cursor would disappear after entering a transaction and you would have to click on the date box of the next new line.

Its the best tax program I found so far, have not used amazon before but they had 2012 for download when intuit will not have it till 11/25/11

IT does slow your computer down a little, but I would rather have that then have a software not catch it. I am very happy with Webroot’s products. I also have used Window Washer for over 10 years. I have tested Lava-Soft SE, Norton,& Zone Alarms anti-spy programs. Seems they all catch something the other ones missed. But Spy sweeper has caught the most serious ones.

What a improvement over ghost 10.0 I like this version for being a inexpensive home backup & the fact I like not having to do whole system backup all at once as with ver. 10.0. Watch for the rebates. Some are quite good.

Would not recognize my registered email, and turn off all saved passwords in firefox browser. Uninstalled bought another anti virus software. What a wasted $20

I have been very curious about Rosetta Stone language teaching program. You saw their commercials everywhere, from airline magazines to TV ads, and wonder if it really works. After several lessons, I can say that it works! Like everything else, you need to invest time and patience, but if you can’t learn from Rosetta Stone, you need a human teacher or you just don’t have aptitude for learning a second language.

I am a long time user of Photoshop Lightroom, from the first version. I used to use Photoshop to manage and edit digital images, but switched to LR totally from then. LR is relatively user-friendly, you need very little instruction to get started. I never had any training, book or instructions of anykind, but always felt efficient with the software. Well, I think it is great that I now have access to this training video.
