Actually, after reading all the comments, I put it off till after my taxes were done. My install and updates went very smoothly. Being the coward that I am, I did save my Quicken files to another directory before installing in case anything went wrong.
At first glance, essentially the same as 2010. Some buttons are in different locations and are a bit more obscure. There was no improvement in the font size.

I installed this over Norton 2000, which I have used and had no problems with. My computer slowed to a crawl. 2005 NAV ate all my computer’s resources. Activation is a problem and so is its updating proceedures. I uninstalled it after it just plain was not working. There are still remnents of it on my machine that will not go away. I bought 2005 Zone Alarm Security Suite. ZA Suite is great…uses very little resources and my computer is now speedy again.

After 10 years of Nero, I just paid to upgrade to 9. After installing it, I wish I can get my money back. The only reason I upgraded was Windows 7 did not work well with Nero 7 Ultimate. Oh, Nero 9 Reloaded, DOES NOT PLAY BLU-RAY ANYMORE!!!! So, now I have to spend more money on a Blu-Ray player for my computer (Will not be Nero!) Way to go Nero!

I purchased this yesterday for $29.99 since Intuit crippled the Deluxe version of TurboTax that I have been using for years. On first glance. H&R Block imported everything correctly from TT, including personal information, prior year capital losses and business depreciation information. It asks the same questions as TT and appears to be very user friendly.
Edited to reflect that Amazon changes the price of this software rather frequently. Keep an eye on it for the best price!

Installed perfectly on Windows XP. Imported last years tax data perfectly.
Manually downloaded information from all my financial institutions, using the correct import file that the firms make available for manual import. (Not the import button in Turbo Tax)nnIMPORTANT! Remember to get the correct file from your broker since the import function button in Turbo Tax does not import your cost basis for stock or options. Unless you do, you will have to fill this out yourself.

This went on sale in early January 2016 and I bought it for $21.95. Following last year’s Turbo Tax Deluxe lies and issues, I switched to HRB for 2014 and have now used HRB for 2015. Everything went flawlessly from installation to efiling. State efile was $19.95. So, in total, I spent less and had a lot less aggravation. Thank you H & R Block!

Utility software is not exciting, and it either does the job or it doesn’t. This does the job of zipping and unzipping without a lot of fuss. I like it for that.

I asked my SIL to do the installation, but it didn’t go so well. After over an hour of trying to activate the product, all we had was error messages. It came with another round for the next evening.
It’s a great product, but I’m finding that activation isn’t so great for us. I’m not sure what we’re doing wrong, or why our account seems prone to error (I have another McAfee product) but it is.

I can’t say much more than I absolutely hate this software. It crashes, it conflicts, it never behaves, and its off of my computer. I have never had so many problems with a security software package as with this one, and after weeks of fighting with it, I gave up. Its too complicated for a mid level user such as myself or something. Security software should function in the background protecting my computer, with only occasional demands for adjustment, but this one is like a spoiled child demanding attention continually.

Id used Dragon NaturallySpeaking previously. Actually Id used a couple of different versions over the years. All of them required extensive effort spent training the Dragon before you could actually use it. Often, it included problems with the Dragon understanding my accent. With this version, there were none of those issues. I read one short paragraph and proceeded with the rest of the set up instructions. I also did the short tutorial.
