Excellent software, easy to use, and fun to play with. I made all kinds of video editing. Installs easy. Makes a great gift.

This software is just for video file playback. It doesn’t do any editing. It’s just a player. There are so many free players out there, and I really can’t tell that big a difference in quality. It works well, but it’s just another video player. I would recommend passing on this product unless you are a serious critic of typical video playback quality.

I am very impressed with this software. I’ve used some speech recognition programs before, but they are usually so very bad, I can’t even tell what I was saying. Dragon does a much better job. It exceeds my expectations. It does still occasionally make mistakes, but much less than I’d expect. It also did take me a little bit of time to get used to the time delay before the text appears on the screen.

It’s Winzip. I honestly can’t tell much difference in all of the updates. Windows now has additional functionality for opening zip files that almost renders this software useless but not quite. It is good for sending zip files and is easy to use.

Norton is THE BEST when it comes to internet security. This particular product gives you 3 licenses, which you know you’re eventually going to want another license if you buy computers often, so I definitely recommend going ahead and getting the 3 pack like this. Norton has prevented several viruses from infecting my computer. When I’ve tried competitors they’ve let things through. I also love the Norton 360 for the password management system, which keeps track of all your passwords even across computers.

Microsoft Office is a vital program to have on any computer. For work, for school, it’s absolutely essential. Even on a completely personal computer, chances are someone will send you a Word file at some point. You want the real deal, actual Office, not some knock-off. The functionality is just that much better with Microsoft Word. That being said, I don’t see the purpose of Office 365. I do not like the concept of a subscription service for essential software.

I am a frequent user of Adobe products such as PhotoShop and Lightroom. I found this product a little bit difficult to begin using. It took me a bit of time to find everything I wanted. The performance was not too bad, and I was able to do everything I normally use Lightroom for. If I had a choice, I’d much rather use Lightroom. It’s easier (perhaps just because that’s what I’m used to?

I have the 2012 version installed on a netbook running Windows XP that I carry with me when I travel. I found 2012 a complete rethinking of the much older version that I had been using for a number of years. Now the 2014 is an update rather than an upgrade. If you have another version of Family Tree Maker on your computer installing this one means you have two versions on your computer.

Thank god I did not install the program they sent me in the mail. This whole activation number thing is a pain and I don’t intend to purchase Turbotax 2002. I also thoroughly dislike installing software that cannot be totally uninstalled as my reading about C-dilla leads me to believe is the case.nWhile I understand their concern about piracy, I also have the right to purchase the program that is the simplest for me to use and clearly from the information I’ve received, Turbotax is no longer that program.
