This switch is perfect for desk use with its Classy Transparent design. It is a simple setup and I have never had a problem with the functionality of this switch.

I bought this software to file my 2011 taxes as I have bought Turbo Tax software for the past several years and find it very easy to use. I would definitely recommend this software to others as it walks you through easy to understand directions.

I bought this software along with the McAfee Total Protection 2012 as it was recommended on website. It did not work with the Total Protection software, so I wound up returning software & getting a credit for same.

First time buying this software. Usually use McAfee, but decided to try this as it was less expensive, and had some good reviews.

Have been buying McAfee AntiVirus for a few years now. Works really well on our computer & laptops.

The software offers good, basic protection for the PC. It is a little slow compared to similar products. It automatically scans devices you plug in, which is a definite plus. The software is pretty straightforward and easy to use. The product seems to be a good value for the money.

Seems to do a very good job of not allowing spyware to install, a great job of protecting your computer against viruses, trojans, etc., and has very easy to use and effective firewall at the presets/configuration. However, it gives you scripting errors on many sub-sections, including spam control and some areas of firewall control. I tried to do a live chat with Symantec support. I was able to reach a tech in far less than the 15 minutes noted on their screen.

I have a variety of computers with a variety of operating systems. 2005 was incredibly lousy on my older machines–every bad thing people have said is true on ME, etc. But, on XP and with a relatively modern/powerful machine, 2005 worked like a charm. Its resource hog issues will not be a problem, as there are so many available. Certainly, it’s a wonderful program to run if you’re looking for a bargain at this date and/or if you like to use a third-party firewall and don’t want to have to deal with switching off a suite’s firewall features with those attendant problems.

Have revised my rating to 4 stars. It doesn’t do very well with non-Symantec firewalls. Or they don’t do well with it. Not sure which, but it can get expensive and annoying to run this with other companies’ software. Because Norton has been getting such a thrashing lately, I thought I’d try other antivirus products. After trying several, I’ve come back to Norton. Yes, it’s a really big program and not suitable for everyone.
