I’ll echo what a lot of the other reviewers have said, in that Anime Studio Debut is fairly straightforward to use, but requires a fair amount of fiddling around to learn very effectively. If you really have no clue about the basic principles of animation, then you will have to learn that as you learn the package, which will make the learning curve seem very steep (but I think this would be true of any animation package).

My bottom line on this program is that is a winner when it comes to the average person needing to edit images. It is more affordable than Photoshop Elements, and much, much more affordable than full power Photoshop. I understand that Photoshop is the standard, but Paintshop Pro is pretty doggone powerful, and it’s less money. My install of this program onto a 64bit machine, running Windows 7 Professional was smooth and without any headaches.

Win Zip is a brand that has been around a long time in computing and there was a time when I thought it was a handy ultility and easy to use, and I appreciated that you could download an evaluation version and then pay for it. For the most part, I still feel that way.
But then came Windows XP and its handy little (and FREE) integrated unzipping feature and WinZip got pushed to the back burner.

Know that there is an update to the v. 11 so that when you install you’ll want the update before playing. Have enjoyed the versitility of the Tab and Custom selections and the Blu Ray is working fine. Use with Windows7 and 64 bit.

Have currently put Kaspersky on our family computers and am having good results. Can recommend Kaspersky Anti Virus 2012 over Norton. Both do the job but Kaspersky seems quicker and have not had any virus problems. I rank it as one of the top virus programs. Also have experience with Trend Micro and McAfee. Right now

Have often wanted to try Kaspersky Anti Virus so was glad to receive the 2011 version from Amazon Vine.nThe program was simple to install and seems to not be cumbersome as some anti virus programs can be. The firewall is compatible with our email program which caused problems. Definitely recommend this Anti-Virus program. The protection against malicious code seems excellent.

I have used Trend Micro for several years. Have also used Norton, Kaspersky, and McAfee all with good results. We have multiple computers in our home and in recent years have been converting to Linux Ubuntu Distro which necissitates not having this type of anti virus control. On Windows 7 and Vista computers that we have all of these programs are running well and tough to pick one over another. Each have their characteristics on updates and excluding various programs.

I have been using this program on a PC with Office 2007 installed, and upgraded from Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager (BCM). Two POP3 accounts were managed, and about 100-125 business contacts were tracked. I have four years’ worth of E-Mail stored, amounting to thousands of E-Mail messages.
For those contemplating an upgrade from Outlook 2003 with BCM, you should do so. BCM is a good idea, but the 2003 version (even after the service packs) were not as good as they could have been.

Windows Vista has to be one of the most reviled versions of Windows, right up there with Bob and Windows Me.
The first release of Vista probably deserved some of the criticism, but so did those who tried to install it on older machines that just weren’t up to the task. Microsoft probably set expectations a little too high, and as what happened with the first Star Wars prequel, the end product was never going to live up to the expectations.
