I have been using Turbo Tax for years. It is so simple and easy to use, my kid can do it. Easy to follow forms with step by step instruction. Plus helpful side notes.

I went from Vista to Windows 8. I lost all my programs having to reload them. As of today, I still can not load office 10. About 3 times a week, windows 8 has to reload taking 30 minutes or more each time. I’m going back to Vista.

I keep my PC protected every year with Norton. It works good for me. My only dislike is every year they seem to change the name. I used to get 360 and that was replaced with another name.

I purchase my Norton 360 each year from Amzon. They have the best price, even better than buying it from Norton.

I have Trend Micro’s Internet Security on one computer at home and BitDefender on another. I have to declare myself thoroughly delighted with both of them. The BitDefender gives perhaps a slightly better bargain for the buck, partly because it offers very slightly larger features and partly because it provides a year year license while the Trend Micro provides only one. In fact, comparing the BitDefender with all other security programs, it just might be the best bargain.

This is a new program for me, but it has pretty quickly become my favorite movie editor. I am not an expert at movie editing. In fact, I have 50 or 60 hours of video that I have taken with my phone or GoPro but have not put together for sharing with others. Part of the problem has been the rather rudimentary editing programs that have been dispensed with cameras or computers that I have purchased.

that WinZip remains the standard by which file compression software is to be judged. I’ve been a steady user of WinZip for 20 years now, and while other compression programs are free, I always take the time to buy the new edition of this when it comes out. It remains one of the few essential software programs.

For the second year in a row I’ll be using Norton as my multi-device. I’m not sure it is the best currently available, but it sure isn’t the hyper invasive program it origins.
lly was. There was a time when Norton was as intrusive and as hard to get rid of as the most intrusive malware. Whatever the reason, the developers have ceased trying to be indispensable by making it impossible to get off of a machine, and instead has become surprisingly noninvasive.
