I remember back in the day. Norton was really the only game in town when it came to anti-virus protection. Then came along McAfee and we had some competition. Now there are a multitude of options out there and I have had some experience with just about all of themand to be honest I still think Norton is the best.
Reasons for that: I feel Norton still spends the most resources on updating and fighting new threats compared to others.

I love Ksperskys antivirus program. I have consistently used it since 2010. I have also tried other products such as McAfee and Norton and Titanium but none of them compares to Kaspersky as far as cpu usage, real time protection and updates. 2012 edition continues in the same edition with a more updated virus library.

This is my first time using an non MS-Office product. This does everything that MS Office does but it also allows you to make and edit PDFs.
Since a lot of documents are scanned and emailed these days as PDF and I also have a lot of ebooks on PDF, it makes this product that much more useful.
Very easy to use and great support.

Thanks to Vine, I had the opportunity to try out a bevy of virus scanners and protectors…several had been from Norton. The latest Norton product, Norton 360 3.0 is the best of their scanner products thus far.
The major change is that where previous software took up a huge amount of CPU while not even scanning and slowed down the performance of my PC, this product doesn’t do that. It’s not as intrusive as far as CPU usage is concerned.

This was my first time using such product. It was a good learning experience. This is very easy to use and not much advance skill necessary.

There are tons of features available on this which allows for easy and advanced photo manipulation as well as starting from scratch. I am still working my way through it, so will update accordingly. So far, I like what I see!

I have used a bevy of virus scanners/protectors ranging from Symantech, avast, norton etc. I even used a previously released version of Mcafee a few years back. I am happy to say that this product stand up well against its competitors.
It is fairly easy to use and can be used by up to 3 users. It has all the standard features as expected from most virus scanners. However, the only downside to it in my opinion is that when rebooting your computer, this thing really slows down the process.

Great AV, overall great protection and doesn’t take up much CPU to boot. Runs quietly in the background. Much better than Norton or McAfee.

I purchased this product to be mainly used for my father’s small business. I used Microsoft money and Quickbook and I wanted to try the new Microsoft accoutning software.
The Pros:n1) Paypal integrationn2) Can convert Quickbook documentsnnThe Cons:n1) Too slow (in terms of conversion) and often there are missing datan2) Too many features (overwhelming)nnI felt that the bad cons outweighed the good and in this case, I’d give it a 3 star.

This version is not very different from the current 2003 Outlook that I use. It’s better to think of it more as an upgrade. The new features include:nn1) Business Contact Managern2) RSS FeedsnnAlso, this version is compatible with my older version of MS word so no problems there.
