Hated it, and here are 3 of my 10 reasons:nn1. Cant import income in bulk. In other words, if you have an excel file with 500 expenses, (with date, description, and time), youll have to type in each item individually, doing 1,500 entries. Barf.n2. Cant paste what youve copied from elsewheren3. They hide too much. In other word, in most cases, they don’t allow you to see all of the things youve already put in so that you can easily change it

An absolute disaster.
PC Fix-it Utilities 9 Professional software is a DISASTER. I spent over 3 hours working on it, about over 10 total reboots, and the machine is faster with some things but is MUCH more unstable.
However, I CAN’T USE OUTLOOK AT ALL now, since it says it can’t find MAPI32. DLL anymore and now Outlook says I should reinstall Outlook. I tried getting a MAPI32. DLL from another machine and that doesn’t seem to work either.

Apple has a built in dictation system, and Dragon is a HUUUUGE waste of time.
Dragon & Digital River should give seminars on horrible customer service.
First Digital River never sent me the physical shipment. Either they (or Dragon) calls me once every couple of months to sell me what I already bought, and I tell them I never received it, and of course, they do nothing.
Then I get my new IMac, so I want to set up all the software.

the software has a lot of cool features, and if you are into video editing no doubt you will love this program. It is very feature rich. However I am not a big fan of the user interface. The wizards are the a bit clumsy and the regular interface, I don’t find that intuitive. Having said that, I have been quite happy with the product after I overcame the steep learning curve.

I have this running on two machines. One my laptop/tablet, and the other my wife’s pc. In both cases I fairly happy with the performance. Once very nice feature is that after installing the product on the 2nd machine, the installation on my laptop detected it and ask me if I wanted to manage it from my laptop. Its not quite an enterprise level management interface like we we use in IT but more than sufficient for for home users.

This is an ok product. I work with antivirus software as part of my job, and this product is firmly in the middle. As far the antivirus part goes, it does its job well. I was disappointed to see how often it wants the machine to be rebooted after an update to virus definitions though. Good software these days should only rarely require a reboot after an update. I do like how it has some different modes, like a gaming mode that cuts back the scanner’s footprint while you doing cpu intensive stuff.

Got Windows 8⁄8.1 for my laptop. This OS is really designed from the bottom up for a phone/tablet. The user interface is very much touch screen oriented. At least with 8.1 it now boots to the desktop instead of the tiled start screen. Media player is gone, unless you buy the pro version or pay extra bucks to purchase it separately. My wife’s biggest complaint is that you can not play any of the games unless you are logged on to the Internet.

I was excited with the Black Friday sale price of $29.95, but this is no bargain if you want to include graphics/pictures in your PDF files. Corel PDF Fusion uses very heavy compression with no user control over the image quality. This is particularly obvious if you have an image that includes high contrast text, such as black text on white background. You will get lots of compression artifacts and the text will be color tinges along the edges.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and imagine my surprise that starting in 2014 they removed Schedules C, D, E & F and the supporting worksheets! Raising the price of the product is one thing, but removing forms and not telling the customer until you buy the product and find out that not only can you not import last year’s data, you can’t even manually fill out this year’s taxes!
