Before you buy this, you should be aware that Intuit charges $15 for each e-file, Federal or state. There’s no free e-filing with Turbo Tax, period. Seriously, I think $15 is a lot to pay for e-filing. There are websites that give you completely free e-filing; my favorite is TaxAct (at taxactonline dot com). With TaxAct, you get the complete Federal plus state package for $7.95, which includes e-filing. Or you can use their standard package to prepare Federal and e-file for free, with NO income restriction!

I’ve been using the WillMaker Plus product for years. The 2012 edition is more of the same. Starting with a couple of editions back, they removed the trust maker from the product, which is a big shame. You receive access to Nolo’s online living trust website with this product, but a couple of weeks ago I received an e-mail saying that access was coming to an end for owners of this edition, and continued use would require payment.

Wow, I am finally out of the dark ages with Wordperfect Office! Some very neat features, such as the password protected pdf files. I, for one, did not need that feature, but I am sure there are some out there that do! Installation was a breeze and it’s very easy to use and navigate!

Someone mentioned it was your typical Microsoft software and they were right. It is what you expect. I had no problems with it. I used it for my own small business and made out fine. I have a friend who used it to organize their online Ebay sales and manage their income that way. Easy to use.

I had my son add this to his computer and give it a whirl. We had no installation issues on a Windows 8 laptop. Please note, it’s not a matter of just sitting down and editing what you want. You will need to spend some time with this one and learn it. It is not 1-2-3 unless you have done this before. I have not edited video before and I found it a bit of a challenge.

I used Quicken Legal Buiness Pro for my own small online business last year. It really helped out in a few areas. The biggest was documents! I could finally get my own documents and print them right out without the help of an attorney or accountant. It certainly saved me here and there! It is certainly easy to use and gives a prompt showing the legal in’s and out’s as you go along.

What can I say it’s Microsoft, No matter what they do it will never play correctly with MACnI had a older version (Office 2004) installed then upgraded to 2011. I can tell you it was a pain in the rear for a while. I needed to Sync the old Office to the new and what transpired for the next few days was very bothersome. Pop up windows appearing stating that the old Office was not supported, the proceeded to up date my calendar about 30+ times, what a mess deleting all the crap.

I don’t have a TV in my RV but I do have a gaming computer with this add on and it really makes watching movies a thrill with the make them 3D feature.
