My Grandson is very happy with this laptop!

I have been using Turbotax Deluxe to do my taxes every year since 1997 and really don’t know how I could do it without them. It is fast, easy and very complete and it seems that they almost guarantee a refund every year. Hope they never let up!!!

Fast delivery and easy installation on my old XP PC. It looked up my old TurboTax Deluxe files. Everything looking good so far but my wife and I still haven’t received all our tax statements from our retirement funds so we still have to wait awhile to really get into filing. Will update this review after everything is finished. PS. the price ($22) was GREAT compared to last years (and this years) TurboTax.

Had a catastrophic failure and loss of my system and reloaded Windows on a fresh disc, loaded Novastor, which I had been using for backups for years, and It told me that I had to purchase an upgrade since my current version had expired (News to me!). Well, I needed my system because I had a fairly recent Novastor total disc backup, so I ordered the upgrade on my wife’s system, installed the downloaded new Novastor on my system’ and mounted the backup disc and proceeded to restore my system.

Works as advertised and took about 10-15 minutes to activate and start using. Made a lot of older XT programs work that would not behave before. Am extremely pleased, especially with Amazon’s great price and service. The installation of the new key did not appear to require another verification from Microsoft, but beware, it does. You have to go into your Control Panel and register again or get hit with another request in 30 days.

Amazon’s price is not as good as H&R Block’s. I am holding a disc from them that came in the mail 2 days ago. The price for this version is $34.95. The disc contains all versions. You just pay for the version you want. There is also another incentive they call +10% refund bonus. You guys need to work a little harder to get my business on this product!nnI see that some folks do not find this review very useful.

I have used this program year after year, so I don’t expect to find too many faults, but as I said, I will do an update. What I should have done is wait for a better price. I bought it at 34 dollars and change.

Keeps itself updated very often.n2. Has a feature that verifies files making them secure and unnecessary to scan. Scans are extremely fast.n3. Has many optimization features to keep your computer running well.n4. It is completely automatic. Set it and forget it.n5. The latest version of the product is 4.0. You get to upgrade free to every new version, although not automatically. However, they will notify you of a newer version’s availability by email.

I have completed my 08 tax returns for Federal and State, but have not submitted them yet due to the possibility there will be tax relief passed by the Congress. Tax Cut itself indicates more updates are due. The program offers to update itself every time it is opened, and it will keep you informed when updates are planned so you won’t submit an erroneous return. I made that mistake several years ago with Turbo Tax not knowing if an update was planned.

I had this on a Vista system. Moved it to my Windows 7 system and lost many features including CD ripping. NO SUPPORT.nAvoid Roxio products. I use freeware now to rip and burn stuff. Roxio is crud.
