Happy with this transition. I did not encounter any installation problem at all. It took about 30 to 45 minutes. All my data are intact. Need to remember that it requires you to have at least 2 gigs of RAM - one thing that I forgot so I have to redo it until my additional memory came in from the mail.
It makes working on apps more snappy. Additional space is a much appreciated bonus.

Final Cut Express is your bridge to serious video editing. It has most of the features of the $1,000+ Final Cut Studio for a fraction of the price. It is a big jump for an iMovie user. Final Cut opens up a new world of expanse playground for creativity. It has a learning curve but very exciting and a joyful one.
A big difference between version 3.5 and 4 is the omission of Soundtrack (similar to Garageband but designed for videographers) audio software; but at the same time the price was slashed from $299 to $199.

I have used this product for 5 months and I’m quite happy with it because it never uses 2-3% CPU unless it’s you’re using it to actively scan your drives. It’s intercepted a few Internet nasties in the time I’ve had it and kept the health of my system in tiptop shape. Unlike others, mine has NO popup ads that try to get you to buy the full/pay version (probably because mine’s an older version of the program).

Honestech’s Stopmotion Studio is easy to set up and use. You’re going to need just one piece of hardware – a camera! (either a webcam or DSLR). If you already have a webcam set up, it will appear in Stopmotion Studio as a Camera Device in the dropdown menu as an option.
Before you start a stopmotion movie, you need to specify the Capture Size (resolution) and Frame Rate. The highest Capture Size you can select via a dropdown menu is camera dependent.

I have used both Painter 11 and Painter 12 and find these more intuitive to use than Painter Essentials 5, which is essentially a stripped-down version of the full-fledged Painter programs. Painter 11 and 12 have more brushes, more canvas textures, wet background painting, more options and customizations, and a slew of other niceties that Painter Essentials lack. HOWEVER, Painter is also more than 10 times the price of Painter Essentials.

So far as I am concerned, if you have this version of Office, you don’t need to bother with 2010 or 2013. It has many more features than I will ever use.

I started using Quicken in 1996, and this is the third version for me. Please note that I only use the checkbook, so all my comments are confined to that feature.nThe best thing about Quicken Deluxe is that there is no learning curve and little need to change anything. I bought Quicken Deluxe just as I was about to balance my check book. So when I changed from Basic 2005 to Quicken Deluxe, everything went just as before.

For full disclosure, I should mention that I would never dream of using tax software to file the actual tax return, and even less to file an electronic return. I prefer to use a reliable tax accountant, either an enrolled agent or a CPA. So I use TurboTax just to make an estimate of my tax return. Then if my estimation differs considerably from my tax preparer, I can check to see where I or she went wrong.

The life on a ranch is not as easy as it looks. Sure, feeding animals, picking vegatables, and getting eggs from the chicken coop is easy, but what about the part when you get attacked by a chicken who hates it when you try to take the eggs away from her nest in her presence? This is my favorite Nancy Drew game and book, and I beat it in…3 days. Basically a day for, well, a day.

Lilacs all around, the smell of fresh baked pies in the air, and a beautiful house…You wouldn’t even think that there would be trouble in the atmosphere! You play as Nancy Drew, of course, solving her VERY FIRST MYSTERY…not in the series, but in her life. Emily Crandall’s mom died not too long ago, leaving her in charge of Lilac in with only the help of Emily’s gaurdian, Jane. You and your blue roadster need to help Emily…Why didn’t Josiah Crowley leave Emily the money he promised her when he would pass away and his will would be revealed?
