This Internet Security has worked great! It was very easy to install. At times, other anti-virus programs have been difficult to use because they make you uninstall the previous security service before you can use their program. With this Titanium product, it uninstalled the old program itself once I gave it permission. That was very convenient and quick. I have also been very impressed with the monthly reports that are given to me.

Easy to install and simple to set up. Besides the great coverage behind the Norton name, I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of setting this product up. Putting protection on your computer should not take rocket science. This product walks you completely through the process, even uninstalls your expired protection for you. After the uninstall, the computer will restart and go back immediately to the installation of the new product.

This Vipre Antivirus software has some really great qualities. It is easy to use and understand. I like how it is not intrusive when it is working. It doesn’t have a ton of pop-ups that interrupt you. It seems to catch general stuff really well. I happened to install it while my computer was having a few issues. I thought that it might help me solve a few of the problems I was having.

Upon receipt of the product, I immediately tried to download it on my husband’s computer. When I get something like this in the mail, I often put the disk in first and read the directions later. Well, bad idea… Before inserting the disk, you need to remove all old protection. I stopped the downloading and reversed my steps. I don’t know if this caused my later issues or not; I am just disappointed in myself for not following the directions exactly.

TT Business still needs to be able to import transactions from a Broker for investment sales. Almost every Trust has investments so why isn’t this a feature in this product. It is there for Premier and Deluxe. Overall less buggy than last year. I use both TT Premier for personal taxes and TT Business Form (1041) for two Trusts

I bought the expensive TurboTax Business to do the taxes for two trusts held at our broker. Quess what? This expensive version can not download those transactions into the program. WHY!!!! I would expect most trusts have investments held at a broker, but TurboTax doesd not see fit to give you an easy way to get those transactions into the tax return. The reasonably priced Deluxe version works just fine at downloading those same transactions into my personal tax return.

The Step by Step Data Entry gives no warning that you will double entry any Sale of a PTP if you enter the Sale in the 1099-B Brokerage down load of sales and in the Sales area of the K-1 for the PTP; like it seem to be requesting by the way the questions are phrased. But if you switch to the Forms mode while entering the Sale data in the K-1 area; you will find TurboTax Instructions in BOLD LETTERS instructing you to enter ZERO for both the Sale and Basis on the K-1 entry form if the Sale was reported to the IRS by the Broker on a 1099-B.

The Step-by-Step Interview doesn’t allow Invesment Management expenses to my broker (it puts an error message concerning investment interest when I am working in the investmetn expense catagory) and does not link to the Foreign Tax credit form as it states it should. If I didn’t know the IRS system better than the Step-by-Step Inverview, I would have been charged an extra $1700 in taxes. No mistakes on the calculations; just that the proper information could not be entered during the interview.

I recently was running Trend Micro on my computer and when the subscription expired I wanted to try a new Anti-Virus software, because Trend Micro was really slowing my computer down. So after reviewing tons of Anti-Virus software , I bought Kaspersky. Now the installation is pretty easy but, if you get stuck, just go to their support center and they will help you with any problems. So after I installed the software it had to do an update and restart, but after that you are ready to go!
