I was not able to review this product thoroughly, because between the time I requested it and the time it arrived, my computer was sabotaged, and the hard drive fried. I am now using a much older computer that does not meet the system requirements for this product.
However, even without being able to use it, I can tell you several things about it based on what I received. First of all, it comes iwth a digital copy, which is a great benefit if you want to install it on other compatible devices that do not have a disc drive.

The price of the family pack makes this a no brainer. You get license to install on 5 computers in the same household for a price less than two individual copies of Snow Leopard. And the OS itself is fantastic, below is my review of the OS itself:nnI installed the family edition tonight on two laptops, a MacBook and MacBook Pro. It is immediately obvious the new Finder is worth the price of admission alone.

I installed the family edition tonight on two laptops, a MacBook and MacBook Pro. It is immediately obvious the new Finder is worth the price of admission alone. Finder windows open and close quickly, there’s no annoying pauses and hangs. File copies are dramatically faster; no more need for power users to use a third party tool or drop into Terminal to copy files quickly. Time Machine backups are indeed faster, my old applications still work fine.

I have a very high end Mac Pro and bought Toast Titanium Pro in a bundle with an external Blu-Ray burner. Every time I click the mouse in Toast, I get a spinning beach ball for 30 seconds. I upgraded to the latest version of Toast. This is a system with a very fast disk array and 24 GB of RAM. Everything flies except for Toast.
Do not buy this or bundles with it; it’s a total waste of money.

I got Norton 360 on a Gold Box special. I haven’t used anything from Symantec in a few years as the last anti-virus program from them caused some serious issues with my computer. I’m afraid this just confirms that Symantec is not to be trusted; ever.
ProsnInstalling 360 on my Windows 7 desktop went fairly smoothly; it did force a reboot without warning, but I didn’t loose any data. It offered to add Identity Safe to my browsers and so far, I don’t think that has done anything negative.

Fist, I’m no beginner and my system is an HP with a fast Duo Athlon processor, 3gb of ram and Vista preinstalled by the factory.
If you were unfortunate enough to remember WindowsME then you know why Vista is only getting 1 star, they are equally as bug-ridden. I have been using Windows since 3.0 and have used every flavor with mixed success. I know how to tweak settings and manually steamline a Windows OS.

I have been purchasing nearly every single build of PaintShop Pro since the shareware version 3 that JASC Software made more than 15 years ago. Unfortunate this version is just like the previous 3; it’s unstable. I have tried reinstalling the program 3 times and it won’t even open without crashing. Other reviewers are correct; Corel’s support is sub-par at best. As far as my use is concerned, there is only 1 reasonably stabled builds of PS Pro from Corel; x4 build 14.

The good news is that out of the box, this is the first stable version of PaintShop Pro since X4. The bad news is that the update pack broke it!nnI’ve been a PSP user since version 3 when it was shareware under JASC Software. I’ve purchased almost every update since then. Version 9 and X4 are my favorites. There are so many fine details that this program handles easily and repeatably including color balance, brightness/contract and saturation.

I’ve had this for a few months now and Webroot is picking up malware better than other solutions. I’ve scanned files I suspected on my laptops with other virus programs and didn’t get any hits, but Webroot did find the signatures even in zipped and RAR files. Additionally, it doesn’t seem to be slowing down my machine or interfering with other programs like Norton!
