Been using McAfee for more than a decade. I don’t remember when I started. Short side trip to Norton (memory/cpu hog) forced me back to McAfee in short order. It has never failed to block trojans, embedded malware in programs, email delivered viral attempts, risky connections, etc. However, I had to call CS for installation on my cells. Didn’t trust myself installing on my cells. Good verbal guidance and written instructions were sent to me and resultant protection now resides on all my devices for one low price.

Been using McAfee for years. Small foot print, auto updates, watches mail, etc. Never been tapped with ANYTHING bad while McAfee watching. Outstanding buy.

Have Spanish version 3 level 1,2&3 installed on a Vista laptop and it works well. The program uses repetition of words matched to pictures to reinforce learning. I like the feature of being able to speak into the system to test your accent. The software will let you know if your accent matches what it believes is correct. The program starts off easy but quickly becomes harder as you move through the different lessons.

I’ve been running OS X on my G4 Powerbook for over a year now, and I love it.nJaguar 10.2.8 was running great so there was no stability reason for me to upgrade. Basically I just had to have the latest version just because it is the latest type of thing. Yes the system is quicker and there are some useful features such as expose, but I’m not sure it was worth the cost of the upgrade.

It might be obvious, but this version does not include the state tax program. To file state taxes you will have to purchase and download the state product from within the Federal application. I am using this on a Apple iMac with latest OS and Turbo Tax installed and is working as expected. I was able to import prior year data without issue. My taxes are not complex so this version works fine for typical home write offs.

I tried Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 to see if it was worth upgrading my home XP machine to Vista. I just can’t find any compelling reason to upgrade to Vista. I have I gig of memory in my home machine and with XP it runs fine. With Vista I have to turn off the Aero graphics due to limited memory on my machine. Once the Aero graphics are turned off the system runs close to the speed of XP but you loose the major feature upgrade of Vista which is the improved graphics.

I was using 2011 version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus on a few pc’s at home. Overall I was impressed with the 2011 version and I am as well on the 2012 version. Installation was easy and the program doesn’t get in the way of your user experience on the pc. I had no problems installing this version and so far my pc has not slowed down because of the program. I like having the 3 user addition as it is a good value for covering all of your home pc’s in one easy to manage license key.

McAfee has always been a good brand in my mind. I’ve tried a few other brands such as MS and Norton and seem to still like McAfee the best. The MS product is terrible and just slows your pc down with useless performance improvement software that they force you to have run automatically. Norton isn’t bad but McAfee has been a solid brand for a long time so I stick with them.

If you want to learn some Spanish or enhance what you learned years ago in High School then this product is worth a try. For the price is is not bad but it is no at the same level of quality as other well known language software products. Difference is that the well known products are very expensive so if you are on a tight budget this product might meet your needs.

I’ve always liked Trend Micro products. I’ve never had issue with Trend Micro products and this version of Internet Security is no exception. I generally try to stay away from products that try to be all things when it comes to security so I often turn off some of the extra features of the security suite products and just stick to the virus protection. For the average home user though the security suite can help them protect their pc and data when they don’t fully understand all of the security threats and how to stop them without a product such as this.
