Trend Micro has made a decent antivirus fir decades. This version of Trend Micro is better than McAfee and Norton because it isn’t quite a boggy as it could be. Even so, it does slow down older machines, which means you’ll be pulling your hair out if you have an anemic netbook. But it does protect your machine, which is worth it.
Somebody else mentioned in the reviews to not renew the antivirus and just buy a new one.

This is an extremely powerful video editor that has many features, is easy to install and use, and is worth the money. I’m still working on it to produce professionally looking videos. The great news is that it’s geared toward those of us who aren’t professional but want a professional looking product.

I think this product would be good for someone who can actually draw. Even so, it felt rather simplistic and didn’t offer near the choices I thought it should for creating a character. Loaded fine. Just not as powerful as I had hoped.

I installed this software, unsure if it would work with my company. I found that the type of company was limited to a handful of companies like retail, manufacturing, etc. Nothing was a good fit for publishing companies, nor companies that use JIT/POD manufacturing. It looks like it has a lot of comprehensive forms, but most don’t apply to my company, so I can’t tell you if it will work for yours.

Simple to use. All I had to do was fill in the information required. The tough part is going to get it notarized.

I used to be really positive towards Corel products, but honestly they tend to be buggy, especially with netbooks and large files. WP isn’t bad, but it takes some getting used to and I’ve had WP get a little wonky with my MS Office novels. It’s not a seamless translation, but if you want a fair functionality and don’t want to go the Open Office route, try it. It’s better than paying for MS Office.

Symantec generally makes a sound product. This is one of several top antivirus/system security software that usually works well. I say usually because I’ve seen some viruses slip past McAfee, Norton and TrendMicro. So, it does happen.
My main concern is how slow the system will run. Right now, it doesn’t cause significant slowdowns like I’ve seen in the past, but it may, depending on load. The best software that seems to not cause mental problems with that as much is Avast!

This software installs AVG Security Toolbar which is a total mess if you don’t catch it. While it has a lot of extra features such as the Blu-ray/DVD player, video conversion, media player, etc., I wonder how much we really need. I have that already, so adding this doesn’t seem to add value. The file recovery is a nice touch, but since I didn’t get to try that out, I’m wondering how good it actually is.

This is simply the basic Norton Internet Security software with a web interface that is simple to use for non-IT people who need to administer security software on multiple devices. It also allows for additional devices to be added during the subscription period at a prorated cost.
Like all anti-malware software, it saps resources and slows everything down, but at least it is not true malware disguised as anti-malware.
What is very odd is that there are two different products on the Amazon page with a significantly different cost.

Dragon Dictate has been a somewhat frustrating experience.
This software came on a disc with no key to download, even though new Apple computers haven’t had optical drives for some time now. The software should be sold on a flash drive rather than on a disc and with a download included.
Installation was no problem after getting a disc drive.
Training was not a problem. However, there is a bit of a learning curve with the commands and when using the software, it is necessary to actively give dictation, rather than to just speak.
