If you need the special features this program offers, then it’s does the job well and makes it easy to zip up files or entire folders of files. For me, I rarely zip files so all the bells and whistles of this program are over kill for me. It is nice that you can zip a file or group of files and password the zip file and email it without fear of the wrong person unzipping the file, or you can zip large emails for faster uploading and downloading.

I agree with a lot of the reviews that say there is not a lot new if you are already using 2011 and maybe even 2010 but I highly recommend upgrading from anything older than that. I’ve used Quicken since it came out in the late 1980s. I’ve tried other products along the way and always come back to Quicken. I don’t know what I’d do without my quicken.nWhen you first get started with the program, to take full advantage of it, it takes some setting up.

As a vine reviewer, I’m obligated to review items and have no way of notifying amazon that I never actually received an item, such is the case with this software. So I give it three stars for being the kind of product it is. Any product that helps you save your valuable data is well worth the money. They may be better products out there and I’m sure there are worse ones too (hence the three star rating), but something is better than nothing.

It’s not because it’s so slow that I hate it, it’s because Microsoft has decided that I’m too stupid to know what I’m doing so they’ve decided to protect me from myself and won’t allow me to even look at what’s on my hard drive. Every mouse click now takes 3 or 4 clicks for the same thing. It’s so confusing to look at my documents folders, I can’t figure out what is where.

I put the word Professional in caps because I believe this product is for people who really know and understand computers and the OS. I let Fix it clean out unwanted or unneeded files and then couldn’t open some of my regularly used programs and had to re install them. If you know what you are doing and take the time to review the list supplied you can find a lot of junk that will help make your computer better, fix issues and make it faster.

I’ve been using Quicken since the late 80s or early 90s. I LOVE this software. In this version you can attach PDF or JPG files to transactions, so I scan all my receipts and attach them to my transactions. When ever I need to find a receipt to return something, I have it in an instant. It’s really easy to use software, no more difficult than entering transactions into your check book registry, but these you can search with any word.

Getting it installed was simple, but you have to register it before you can use it so you need an internet connection to register it.nI think it was fairly easy to understand and the video tutorials were great and really got me excited to use the product. My problem came when I tried to change views, I don’t know if it was a problem with my computer or the software, but I’d sometimes wind up with a small version of the view in a corner of my screen and I couldn’t get it back to the view I just had.

I never used tax software before last year. I tried the online Turbo Tax and it was good but when I got the Desktop version for this year, well I was pleasantly surprised at some of the stuff it did.
1. I have a Merrill Lynch account and I can never understand what goes in the taxes and what doesn’t. Well, Turbo Tax went online and collected my account information and put everything in for me… WOWnn2.

Change, simply for the sake of change, is never a good idea. The main problem I have is that Microsoft seems to feel it is unnecesary to shut off my notebook. Truly, something as base as turning off a computer is not something I want to have to hunt and search for. Please, geeks at Microsoft, explain why you have hidden this function.
