I have been making short movies on my computer for over a decade and when I started, this software would have cost 20x as much with only a small fraction of the functionality. I found this software to be easy to use and not crash-prone. The results are outstanding and while not perhaps professional, should satisfy most home users. The controls are intuitive and user-friendly. However, I’m not sure why you pick this product over Video Studio Ultimate x6, which is only marginally more expensive, but with better features.

A way to track your stolen laptop or computer, sounds great. What you’re buying is not software, but rather an activation number for this software through the Norton website. It installs easily, but I didn’t have the need to track my device. However, assuming it got stolen, tracking my iPhone or laptop would have limited utility. My inner city Police Department isn’t going to be interested that I can track my missing iPhone to a region of the city, nor would I confront a thief over an iPhone.

Functional, easy to use, convenient for the recepient, secure and there is an iPhone app! While there isn’t much not to love, I couldn’t find much I needed, either. Relatively expensive, but probably worth it if you often need to send large files (up to 2 gig).

Very robust program with user friendly interface. Much more intuitive than Adobe Lightshop and while not as full featured as Adobe Photoshop, it has probably 80% of the functionality at a small fraction of the price. Although I have Photoshop, I find myself using simpler programs for most tasks, since my editing needs are fairly straightforward. This program is highly recommended.

This product works well. Unlike other reviewers, I had no problems with installation or hang-ups during and a new computer (Windows 8, 16 Gig RAM). User interface is easy and intuitive and the results are acceptable. This isn’t the highest end video processing software, but it works well and is fantastic at this price point. Will outperform any software from 5 years ago at any price. Having played with various programs for about 15 years, I am amazed at how my capability the new software has.

Having been a long time user of Norton and been through some of the good versions and bad versions from a few years back that was bloated, slow and a memory hog, I stuck with Norton. In recent years and recent versions, Norton has streamlined their protection suite and made it less intrusive and less of a processor/memory hog than it use to be. For me, I was using the 2013 version before upgrading to the new 2014 version and while I consider this one of the best computer protection programs out there (in fact, McAfee bought the older virus scan engine from Norton a few years ago because they couldn’t build anything better themselves), the 2014 version is only a minor upgrade from the 2013 version I was using.

Having used Quicken in the various encarnations, I will say that I like the product. Why give it a poor rating you say? My main issue with quicken is that the product is great until you get to the end of life which is usually 2 to 3 yrs and then most of the functionality of it becomes useless, which in fact, forces you to upgrade.
Quicken 2013 seems to be very buggy as well and has had 10 updates since its initial release.

I specifically bought this for the additional free state but Turbo tax charged me an additional 40.00 for the state. What a ripoff..amazon at 45.00 and then 40.00 more for the state…so in essense I paid 85.00 for a piece of software that is suppose to be 45.00.

I have been a believer in Turbo tax as my primary way of filing for a few years now and this version is similar to the previous years software. Even though I am a fan of TT, I do have a few gripes about the software. One of my main gripes is that I think that there are too many versions of this software. I really wish they would sell one turbo tax that allows you within the software to use the version you need and then charge you accordingly instead of having to figure out which version to purchase and get.

I bought this as part of a budget pc build. This installed with no issues in typical Windows fashion. Although this doesn’t include the latest updates as I had to update about 150 updates after doing the initial install. This is the cheapest alternative in the Windows 7 OS choices although I still think Windows OS are overpriced a bit. This OS is better than Windows 8 though and for custom builds is the way to go.
